Client Referral Program Terms & Conditions

RW Miles Insurance Agency appreciates referrals from our clients, prospects, and community. Our Client Referral Program allows eligible participants to receive a referral reward when they introduce someone to our agency who completes a qualifying insurance quote.
By participating in the Client Referral Program, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Referral Reward
Eligible participants may receive a $20 referral reward for each qualifying referral who completes an eligible insurance quote with RW Miles Insurance Agency.
The referred individual does not have to purchase an insurance policy for the referring person to qualify for the reward.
A referral reward is provided for the referral and completion of the qualifying quote process and is not based on whether insurance is purchased, issued, or bound.
2. What Qualifies as a Referral
For purposes of this program, a qualifying referral generally means a person who:
Submitting a name or contact information alone does not automatically qualify for a referral reward.
- Is referred to RW Miles Insurance Agency through an approved referral method;
- Has a legitimate interest in obtaining an insurance quote;
- Provides sufficient and accurate information for the agency to prepare a quote;
- Completes the agency's qualifying quote process; and
- Meets all other eligibility requirements of this program.
3. Existing Clients and Prior Leads
A referral may not qualify for a reward if the referred individual:
When more than one person refers the same individual, the agency may recognize the first eligible referral received.
- Is already an active client of RW Miles Insurance Agency for the coverage being requested;
- Was already actively working with the agency for the same insurance need before the referral was submitted;
- Was previously referred by another person for the same opportunity; or
- Is otherwise already associated with an active sales opportunity in the agency's records.
4. Quote Requirements
A quote must represent a legitimate insurance opportunity.
RW Miles Insurance Agency reserves the right to determine whether a referral has completed the qualifying quote process based on the information required by the applicable insurance carrier and product.
Incomplete, fraudulent, duplicate, fictitious, test, or otherwise invalid submissions are not eligible for a referral reward.
5. No Purchase Required
No insurance purchase is required for a referral reward to be earned.
The referral program does not require or encourage the referred individual to purchase insurance from RW Miles Insurance Agency or any particular insurance carrier.
Insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, and pricing are determined separately through the normal insurance application and underwriting process.
6. Reward Payment
Referral rewards are issued after RW Miles Insurance Agency verifies that all program requirements have been satisfied.
Rewards may be provided by an available payment method or other permitted form selected by the agency.
Please allow reasonable processing time after a referral becomes eligible.
Participants are responsible for providing any information reasonably necessary for delivery of a reward.
7. Eligibility and Legal Restrictions
The Client Referral Program is available only where permitted by applicable law and insurance regulations.
Eligibility and reward availability may vary by state or jurisdiction.
RW Miles Insurance Agency may decline, modify, limit, or withhold a referral reward when necessary to comply with applicable insurance laws, regulations, carrier requirements, contractual requirements, or agency policies.
Insurance producers, insurance agency employees, referral partners, businesses, or other individuals subject to separate compensation arrangements may be subject to different terms and may not be eligible under this Client Referral Program.
8. Permission to Share Contact Information
By submitting a referral, you represent that you have permission or another appropriate basis to provide the referred individual's contact information to RW Miles Insurance Agency for the purpose of contacting them regarding insurance.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical information, driver's license numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive personal information through the referral form.
9. Contacting the Referred Individual
Submitting a referral does not guarantee that RW Miles Insurance Agency will be able to contact, quote, or provide insurance to the referred individual.
The referred individual may choose whether to communicate with the agency and whether to continue with the quote process.
10. Program Abuse
RW Miles Insurance Agency reserves the right to reject referrals or withhold rewards when there is reasonable evidence of fraud, manipulation, duplicate submissions, fabricated information, self-generated fictitious referrals, or other abuse of the program.
Participation may be discontinued for individuals who misuse the program.
11. Taxes
Referral rewards may constitute taxable income depending on the recipient's circumstances and applicable law.
Participants are responsible for any tax obligations associated with rewards they receive. RW Miles Insurance Agency may request information or provide tax documentation when required by law.
12. Changes or Termination
RW Miles Insurance Agency may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Client Referral Program at any time, subject to applicable law.
Any changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. Referrals that qualified before a program change will be handled according to the terms applicable when they became eligible, unless prohibited by law.
13. No Guarantee of Coverage
Participation in the Client Referral Program does not guarantee insurance eligibility, availability, pricing, coverage, acceptance, or issuance.
All insurance products are subject to applicable carrier guidelines, underwriting requirements, terms, conditions, exclusions, and availability.
